Garlic Sausage - Smelt ( for Pike )
This is speed fishing !
Freeline only - i.e. no weight on line
Cast to right and keep it tight to the bank
Allow the bait (Garlic Sausage) to sink slowly
When rod pulls round strike
Bites are quick and every cast - try to achieve a rytham
For Pike fish same method with Smelt as bait - let it rest on bottom

Garlic Sausage - Maggot
Set float at 3ft depth
Use 2 No 12 shot either side of the float only
Cast to the far reeds - particularly to the right side and into the far corner
You will catch Roach & Koi with some nice Carp and odd Chub
Loose feed sparingly - too much will move the fish

Fish at the base of the dead tree,
Float, 15lb hookline, 20lb reel line, size 8 hook, breadcrust on hook.
Fish 1.5ft deep and keep clutch on reel set at bottom as soon as you have a bite just keep reeling in you will still loose some as there's some as there is fish in there to 21lb but you need to really bully them before they shed the hook.
The fish in there fight like there is no tomorow :o)
