July 20th 14:00
12ft Float rod / 5lb line / 16's hook / Tiny float
Caster - Maggot
This is a very hard venue - and close to realism
Bites are few - so patience is required and weights are low
But there are good fish to be caught
Set float at 2ft depth - Cast to middle
Loose feed cautiously with caster - and caster on hook also
Also try far bank - adjust float depth to fish mid-depth
Roach will be the main catch with Carp always about.

Strelley Pond

Peg 5

Carp

June 23rd 11:00
14ft Float rod / 5lb line / 16's Hook / Carp sighter float
Boillies - Rich Amino - FS Chocolate - Tangerine
Set float depth at just over 3ft - Look for best water temp
There are no holding features on this peg therefore the Carp will be found spread across the water area.
By casting around in all areas you will be able to find the Carp
Wait no longer than 20 seconds for a bite and cast to another area
Do not stick to one area - like under those trees
Switching between the above baits will keep the fish coming
Using the above method will give the best result
